OKANAGAN ARTS AWARD 2008 – FOR DANCE
Mission Dance Centre and Mission Dance Company congratulate Tanya Bakala for this prestigious award presented Friday, February 15th at the Okanagan Arts Awards Gala. Tanya is pleased with the recognition of her contribution to the dance community in the Okanagan and thanks those that nominated her for this award. The Mission Dance Company also performed the finale at the awards event previewing Missa Brevis. This new ballet (with music by local musician and composer Imant Raminsh) will be featured at Mission Dance Company’s upcoming show Dance Artistico on April 19th.
