We will once again be performing a Christmas Show including excerpts from the Nutcracker.  The dates are:


  • Thurs Dec 15th at the Mary Irwin Theatre
  • Sat Dec 17th at the Creekside Theatre

New Year News!

January 3rd, 2011


  • All classes resume on January 11th, 2011.
  • Mission Dance Centre will be performing at the Opening Ceremony of the International Children Winter Games on January 27th, 2011 at Prospera Place. Come and watch us!
  • For the first time, Mission Dance Centre’s pre-professional students will be participating at competitions in spring 2011. Good luck!
  • Dance Artistico 2011 on June 4th – Save the date and join us at our year-end performance at the Mary Irwin Theatre!

Former MDC Student Jera Wolfe makes Top 22 on So You Think You Can Dance Canada!

Although he got off to a late start in Ballet, former MDC student trained by our Artistic Director Tanya Bakala, Jera Wolfe has successfully escalated through the intense So You Think You Can Dance Canada rounds and is now competing amongst the top final dancers. Following his time at MDC Wolfe continued his training and graduated from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and is now reaching for the stars every Tuesday night. And he needs your votes!
